Payment
Payment is taken immediately for the Rental period by credit
or debit card. Payment will be made in UK Sterling only.
Only if stated the Hirer is required to place an up front deposit of up to 200 UK Sterling depending on the type unit being hired.
In most cases unless stated there will be no deposit required, but Hire SatNav will hold card details as a guarantee for the duration of the hire period payments will be requested via an email payment request system.
All details are held on a secure network which uses industry standard Secure Socket Layers encryption (publicly verifiable in a browser).
No details will be taken of the above network or stored in any other form
Hire SatNav with charge hirers for any non compliance of any terms and conditions as stated in this document and those associated with it
Rental Period
The Rental Period will be from one day upwards and will
start on the day as requested in the booking process. For
units which are not returned within the agreed time period
there will be a charge of £10 for each outstanding day
Damage or Injury responsibility
The Owner holds no responsibility for any damage or injury cause by using any supplied Equipments .
Start and End of
Rental Period
The
Rental Period starts on the day the Equipment is handed to
the hirer or the start date as indicated by the hirer.
End of Rental Period is the day the unit is handed back to Hire SatNav. Late returns are payable at £10 a day and will be subtracted from the provided deposit or charged to the credit card using the details provided by the hirer. If the product is returned with missing component/so then the customer is liable for a late return payment until the missing component/s is/are returned this will be £10 a day rate
Faulty equipment
returns
All equipment is supplied in good working order, if
equipment if found in poor condition on delivery it is
the responsibility of the hirer to contact Hire SatNavo n
the day of delivery or on the day in which the hire
contract starts. After this time period expires charges will
be made for damaged equipment .
Bespoke deals
All Bespoke deal are valid for 7 working days form an email sent date or as written on paper only unless extended by Hire Satnav
Equipment Loss or Damage
The Hirer will follow and adhere to all the instructions
relating to the correct use of the Equipment and keep the
Equipment in good condition. The Hirer will be held entirely
responsible for any subsequent loss or damage to the
equipment resulting in failure to observe such instructions,
or failure to use the equipment in a proper manner. If the
Unit appears to be lost in the post when retuning the unit
it is the responsibility of the Hirer to unit/
Packaging
Our packaging is specifically designed to insure safe delivery of our GPS systems or other equipment. All equipment should be returned as you receive it. If the packaging is damaged in anyway or lost you will incur a charge of £15.00. This charge is to cover the extra costs for replacement packaging. This charge will be subtracted from the provided deposit or charged to the credit card using the details provided by the hirer.
Maps
HireSatNav can not be held responsible for the accuracy of TomTom maps. From time to time you may encounter roads or buildings that are not listed.
Non-Return of
Equipment
The Hirer will be responsible for the safe return of the
unit and all its component parts. The hirer must use the
provided FREE Packaging. The required deposit will
only be returned in full if all the above Terms and
conditions adhered to
Possible Charges
Charges will only be made after notice has been made by email
Damaged Packaging= £15
Loss or non return of TOMTOM Unit=£150
Loss of carry case/RDS-TMC Receiver =£25
Damage to hired unit caused by Hirer=£150 maximum liability
Late unit return= £10 per day charged daily
Monthly Payments
Any packages which requires a monthly payment will be charged on the 7th of each month and a sales receipt will be provided by email
Email payments
Hire SatNav will make payment request using an email payment request system.
By placing an order hiresatnav you are agreeing to the terms and conditions laid out. Contracts do not affect your statutory rights.
